What is Blue Sentinel?
It is a safety system that monitors your location and heart rate using a mobile app and smartwatch, helping ensure you are safe and allowing for quick emergency response if needed.

Who can use the system?

Only registered users with an active account and verified email can use the system.

How does it track my location and heart rate?

The mobile app paired with your smartwatch securely sends your heart rate and GPS data to the system.

Getting Started - Login and Check In

Who can access the system?

Only authorized administrators and registered users with assigned roles can access the system.

I did not get a verification email—what should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, ensure your email address is entered correctly during registration.

What happens if I do not verify my email?

You will not be able to log in until you verify your email address using the link that was sent.

How do I Check In?

Select your shift and assignment. 

Tracking and Monitoring

Why isn't my heart rate or location showing up?

Ensure you have granted all required app permissions (like location and health), your smartwatch is paired and active, and your internet connection is working.

What is a geofence, and why does it matter?

A geofence is a virtual boundary. If you exit this area, the system may trigger alerts to ensure your safety.

Troubleshooting and Technical Help

The app is not syncing—what can I do?

Check your internet connection, make sure the app is updated, and confirm that all permissions are turned on. Also, ensure the watch app is open and active.

I forgot my password—how do I reset it?

Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen. Follow the instructions to receive a reset link via email.
